Lint Roller: No one is above getting a bit of lint, pet hair of just general fluff on them. This tends to show up more on darker clothes so a lint roller is an absolute must. They are so cheap and a little roll over your clothes before you head out the door can take you from dusty to downright put together.
Nothing is worse than a dress that is just a little too see-through, or that moment when the wind makes your slit a little too wide. A slip under your dress is like having an overdraft. Hopefully, you won’t be in a position where things go too far, but just in case, it’s good to have a safety net.
Whether you are a size 2 or size 22, the right shapewear will do wonders for your outfit. Your clothes should skim over your body like a smooth waterfall, and wearing good shapewear will not only hold you in, but it will make everything look smooth. I love to wear a waist trainer under clothes that cinch in at my waist and control pants under pencil skirts.
Some outfits look incomplete without a belt. Some items look too big without a belt, and some items just downright need to be jazzed up. The belt is the easiest but most useful fashion accessory. It can jazz up a boring outfit or make a masculine boxy dress look feminine. If you can afford it, opt for a designer belt. It will last and can add instant style to your look (stay away from those oversized flashy logos, though). I suggest black if it’s your first, as it goes with everything!
A pair of heels is an obvious must-have but every feminine woman needs a pair that is not only stylish but comfortable too. You can’t be expected to glide through your whole day in a pair of Louboutins (ouch) so find a trusty pair that combines both fashion and practicality.
Pro tip: wedges of thicker heels tend to be more comfortable. But they can look less feminine at times. Combat this with a pointed toe, and it’s all balanced out.
